Ok heres what I've found to be the ultimate pizza sauce recipe, and it only takes 15 minutes!
1 Can lagina italian crushed tomatoes
a good dollop of olive oil, maybe 1/4-1/2 cup
pinch of salt/sugar
fresh basil
5-6 garlic cloves
1 small onion
This is an uncooked sauce, with a dash of extra flavour from some cooked elements.
Chop or crush the garlic finely, toast this with no oil for a few minutes in a pan.
Then add some olive oil and just ever so slightly brown/soften the garlic
Remove garlic and keep aside.
Add oil to pan and brown the onions up good and proper, while browning add some salt/sugar to help them cook.
Mix crushed tomato, olive oil basil cooked onion and garlic in a blender, blend up.
Sauce is done! Can be used straight away, but flavour improves after 1 day in fridge!
